At Martlesham we provide comfortable lounge and restaurant facilities, which make an ideal setting for relaxing after exercise and to meet up with friends and family. We extend a warm welcome to non-members at all times.
Our air-conditioned, split level gym is well equipped with some of the latest exercise equipment and weights, TV and audio entertainment and a qualified fitness team offering a free programme of support and individual assistance. There are many classes to choose from including; Body Toning, Yoga, Body Conditioning, Steady Step & Tone, Pilates, Zumba, Step, Combo Super Circuit, Aerobics and Tone, Burlesque and Box Fit, we should have a class to suit everyone.
We have 7 squash courts available to members and very active mens and ladies squash leagues. Individual coaching as well as group and team coaching is available from Mark Baggott, a six times Suffolk Champion. We also have a vibrant junior squash and coaching team for young players and beginners wanting to take up the game.
As a new member of the Club, we like to ensure that you have all the information you need in order to exercise safely and effectively. We are one of the few remaining private health clubs to provide a free fitness induction and we recommend that on joining you book in with one of our instructors for your personalised fitness programme.
Water refreshes and revives. For leisure, pleasure or exercise, the pool and its associated health spa facilities, with separate saunas in both the men’s and ladies changing areas, provides the perfect place to re-invigorate your mind and body. After a work-out, exercise class or simply at the end of a hectic day at work, the pool and spa provide a perfect conclusion. The relaxation area by the pool leads out on to the sun terrace, an ideal location during fine weather to relax.
The comfortable lounge and restaurant makes an ideal setting for relaxing after exercise and to meet up with friends and family. A warm welcome is extended to non-members at all times.
Members can enjoy these facilities throughout the day with menus provided by ‘Adrian Carr Catering’. There are a variety of themed supper evenings, special Sunday menus and catering facilities for events in the Functions Room. The Club is a popular venue, particularly on a Friday evening, for informal gatherings of friends with many events, including live music, comedy nights and supper evenings throughout the year.
The Function Room, licensed for 160 people, is available for conferences, corporate functions, wedding receptions and celebration parties.
